The West-Vic Branch has always been well represented at the Stock horse Nationals in Tamworth each year. We have always been proud of our members who travel all that way and compete with positive results for both horse and rider. This year was no exception, with a little bit of extra excitement for all who were there to witness it.
Imogen Mills and Bushdrift Topcut won working gelding 5 years and over, 15h and then went on to do a perfect working pattern to take out Champion working gelding. It was such a thrill to see Imogen aboard Bushy ride so well in the arena on the open stage.
Another highlight of the show was watching Mitchell Carrigan-Walsh’s home bred colt Laben Jack Royal Encounter win Champion led 2 year old. Huge congratulations to Mitchell on this great achievement.
Congratulations also goes to our various other members in Ashleigh Carrigan-Walsh and Colleen Page who competed at the nationals and did our branch proud.
